As one of the most prominent performers of the Iranian traditional instrument Tombak, Kaveh Mahmudiyan is out with his first solo album; Between Hands features his own compositions where the emblematic Tombak has a central role, generating an overall sound. With him is Jon Balke on keys and percussion, who also produced and mixed the album.
